Televisa, Mexico's Largest Media Company, Selects MediaSite Software

- Application to Enhance Productivity and Distribution of World's Leading Spanish Language TV Programmer -

San Jose, CA, Dec. 13, 2000 - MediaSite, Inc., the global pioneer in the development of software and applications for converting video into an interactive medium, today announced that Televisa, the world's leading producer and broadcaster of Spanish language television programming, has selected MediaSite products and services to help manage its video assets.

Televisa, Mexico's largest media company, will use MediaSite's Publisher™ application to automate the cataloging and indexing of its entertainment video content. Televisa has also purchased MediaSite's WebFinder™ video search engine and applications to search, retrieve and summarize its video footage. The products are included in a video asset management solution being provided by IBM.
