MediaSite Experiences Significant Employee, Geographic Growth

- Employee Population Up 75% Since Q2; Company Represented Across U.S. and Canada -

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 29 - MediaSite, Inc., the global pioneer in developing software and applications for converting traditional video into an interactive medium, is experiencing a meteoric rise in both the size and geographic distribution of its workforce.

Since the end of the second quarter of this year, the company's employee population has grown by nearly 75%. In addition, the downtown-based company has recently opened offices in Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C., as well as expanded its U.S. sales force to include representatives in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Seattle. The company also has a sales manager in London and sales executives in Mexico City, Toronto and Vancouver.

"When I joined MediaSite in April, there were only 37 employees and no physical offices outside of our Pittsburgh headquarters" said MediaSite Chief Executive Officer Vinay Mehra. "Now, we're rapidly approaching 100 employees, setting up additional offices to house our sales force and preparing to announce major expansion plans outside the United States. This rate of growth is truly phenomenal and reflects the growing demand for our products and applications."

One of the more significant areas of growth for MediaSite has been in its sales organization, which barely existed half a year ago. Since July, the company has increased its number of sales executives and managers four-fold, including the addition of Vice President of Sales Chris Thigpen in August.
