Dach> We lost about a two thirds of them going through the portal.  Safe

to say they kept the ships power up when we needed it. The rest of the gel is

helping to keep life support going.



Jade> Internal sensors are fluctuating, sir. Hard to tell what damages we

have.



Davis> Shields?



Jade> ::checking her console:: Barely there sir.  Most of what we have is

coming from the holo-cloak.



::Davis turns to the science station and doesn't see Ruckwood::



Davis> Damn!



::he runs over to find Ruckwood laying on the floor, a bad gash to the

head::



Davis> Can we get a status of the EMH?



Jade> ::frowning as she tries to clear up the internal scans::  Sickbay

seems to have had heavy damage Cmdr.  I'd say the EMH is out of comission.



Davis> Ktryna, see if you can get down to Sickbay and get a med kit.



Ktryna> Aye, sir.



Davis> Triss, help me with him.



::Triss gets up and hurriedly walks over to Ruckwood::



Moraine> ::whispering::  From what I can sense from him Steve, he needs

medical attention soon.



Davis> ::kneeling trying to keep an eye on Ruckwood:: Any idea where we

are?



Jade> Hard to tell Cmdr, but I think we are on the border between the

Romulan Empire and the Federation.



Davis> Communications?



Jade> Online, sir. But the Romulans will be able to intercept...



Davis> I'm aware of that Ens. Open a channel.



Jade> Channel open, sir.



Davis> +COMM+ This is the USS Galileo.  We are in need of emergency help. 

Any Federation ship within communications range please respond.



::suddenly the computer starts blinking, warning signals glowing from the

panels::



Jade> Sir, long range sensors are shakey but I believe a Romulan vessel

has intercepted our transmission and has plotted an intercept course.



Davis> Time of intercept?



Jade> 1 hour sir.



::several moments pass and the COMM comes to life::



Hix>  Galileo, this is the Allentown.  We've received your message and are

on our way.  ETA in 40 minutes.



::Davis and the rest of the crew breathed a small sigh of relief as Ktryna

popped out of the turbo lift with the med kit.::



Ktryna> I couldn't slide the medkit through the cracks so it took me a

little while to get back up here.



Davis> I'm sure Mr. Ruckwood appreciates your hurriedness Ktryna.



=== 40 minutes Later On Board the Allentown ===



Hix> LtCmdr Davis, thought we had seen the last of you.



Davis> ::smiling with a small glass in his hand:: I don't go away forever

so easily.



::both laugh::



Hix> We'll be reaching the Starbase in a few hours. I'm sure you have a

lot of catching up to do.



Davis> What do you mean?



Hix> Troubles Steve.  Big troubles.  I can't talk about it now but be

prepared. ::looks around:: I;ve got to get back to the bridge.



::Davis nods as he watches him go out the doors.::



=== Several Hours Later ===



::Davis walked around his room and replicated an ice tea. Something was going

on. He had to contact Celchu and inform him that he was back, along with

Ktryna and Triss. The original Galileo crew were giving time off until the

Galileo finished repairs. Ruckwood was doing fine but still had to pay the

doctor a visit every now and then::

<<OOC: Ok...at lot happening people.  You have some time off so we can

collect ourselves.  Time for some character developement stuff. We are also

looking into getting into the Insurrection Fleet plot.  We'll see how we can

fit into the big goings on:) Also, if my log seemed weird in anyway, i was

trying desperately to cover a lot of things in a short RL time frame so I

would not hold any of you up any longer.  So get logging:)>>
