<<OOC: Backpost; after CO's post 9905.31; with thanks to Steven for

the included IRC session>>

~~~~Cargobay~~~~
	After Davis issued the orders everyone headed to their
designation, and Tar'a could clearly see the disappointment in Davis
face of her previous actions and hostilities towards the new crew.
Current events however, shaded the situation in a different light and
it made her think more rational of the past events. It was difficult
to acknowledge the paranoia that grabbed her so tight for the past few
days or maybe even weeks, and it was even more difficult to understand
that she was the cause of many difficulties between the old and new
members of this ship. When Lt.Cmdr. Davis started to walk away Tar'a
stopped him.
<TDach> A word with you Sir, please.
<StevenD> Let's go to the ready room...
<TDach> Aye, Sir.
<StevenD> ::several minutes later they enter the ready room::
~~~~Ready Room~~~~

<StevenD> Have a seat Ens...what can I help you with?

<TDach> There are a few things I need to discuss with you.

<StevenD> ::nods for her to continue::

<TDach> The doctor explained to me that large amounts of Codrazine

have been found in my system.

<StevenD> Yes, I've received that report as well...

<TDach> ::sighs deeply uncertain how to proceed:: Look Sir, I know I

have done stupid things... but I am not a thief.=20

	An apology was on her lips, but it seemed useless at this

point to even start about it. She intended to say something else, but

she failed to do so questioning herself whether it would make any

difference. They all had reached a point where words didn't matter,

and she decided to put her better intentions into actions.

<Tar'a>I know I haven't done much to build credit, and I have been

very negative. However, I always have been honest, saying how I felt

from the beginning.

<TDach> Before the crash I was one of the suspects and Chief of

Security was working on an investigation.

<StevenD> Well you have been a suspect in that regard and your

condition as it were would suggest you as the likely candidate for the

missing Cordrazine....however if you did not take it...might you know

who did?

<TDach> The report suggests that I was addicted to the cordrazine

before the crash -- which is not the case.

<StevenD> Why would the Sec Chief put that in the report?

<TDach> I fear I was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time.

<TDach> ::blushes::

<StevenD> ::nods thinking::

<TDach> I did find a large box of Cordrazine when I cleaned up after

the crash.

<StevenD> I'll have Ktryna look into the Sec Chief's logs and see if

we can't find some other explanation...

<TDach> I brought most of it back to the medical supply room.

<TDach> At the same time I was under a large amount of stress, and it

was... ::sighs:: too tempting.

<StevenD> ::nods:: I believe you Tar'a...as I said I'll have Ktryna

dig further into this matter. Perhaps there is something we are

missing.

<TDach> I hope so, Sir. How is Ktryna, is she alright?=20

<StevenD> I haven't heard yet but I presume the doctor would have to

make some modifications for her treatment. She's not exactly a

standard life form.

<TDach> ::nods::

<TDach> Sir, I also have a suggestion.

<StevenD> Go ahead...

<TDach> Repairing the doors is going to take too long. If I could

erect a Atmospheric containment field to seal the area from the

outside we would be able to take this ship into orbit. The impulse

engines are fully operational.

<StevenD> Then make it so. The integration of the gel into the

systems should help you out some...

<TDach>Yes Sir.

<StevenD> ::nods:: Dismissed.

Tar'a turned and left the ready room. The short conversation with

Lt.Cmdr. Davis had helped her much, and she felt relieved. When she

crossed the bridge she could tell that everyone was working hard to

prepare the ship for take off; it would be soon now. Without further

delay she marched into the TL and headed for engineering.=20

~~~~Engineering~~~~
Atlanta had been busy here as many of the screens and panels indicated
and a soft smile of appreciation appeared on her face. This was an
excellent start and it would not be long now.=20
She took a seat in the briefing section of engineering and instructed
the computer to activate the atmospheric containment field prior to
take off. In the mean time she browsed through the information given
to her by Lt.Cmdr. Davis about the gel. She was utterly impressed and
hardly could wait to work with it. There were so many more
possibilities now, if they were able to successfully implement the gel
as a replacement for the bio systems.
After absorbing all the information she begun dictating a log
supplement for future reference.
"Computer begin..."
<bleedlebeep>
"CEO's log. Supplement..."
<<OOC: Sorry for the delay; the log should've sent a long time ago and
it never did; so now I resent it in a altered version. More to come
soon.>>
