<veronyca_elvenchild@yahoo.com>; writes to USS Galileo

<galileo@ucip.org>;:

Triss was exhausted after the fight and felt rather useless. Everyone

else was preparing the ship for the journey home and she wasn't sure

what she could do to help. She had some knowledge of piloting, but

that wouldn't do much good until they had the ship up in the air. She

sighed and headed down to sickbay to start going through things there

and try to sort through some of the chaos in the offices.

When Triss entered sickbay she was met by the holodoc, who asked her if

anything was wrong. She smiled slightly and shook her head.

"No...just feeling a bit useless up with everyone else. So I came down

to see what needed to be done in here." The doc looked pleased.

"Oh

good. They've rather neglected sickbay since there's not a 'real' doc

down here. I'd appreciate some help with getting things cleaned up if

you don't mind."

Triss smiled wider. "Not at all, just show me where to start."

The

doc led her over to the far corner, where things had just been *shoved*

in order to get some floor space. She spent the next several hours,

with the doc helping where he could, clearing out that corner and

sorting through the stuff to find anything useful. Some of the

equipment actually would only need minor repairs before it was useful

again. That stuff went into one box and got set in the CMO's office.

The rest of the small debris got chucked into a cargo container that

Triss had lugged in from the cargo bay.

After all of their hard work, sickbay was finally back to a semblance

of normality. Triss was willing to bet that it wouldn't stay that way

for long, but all that mattered was that it was that way now. She

thanked the doctor for his help and went off looking for the others.

<<OOC: sorry not much this week, but I wasn't sure what to be doing.

I'll log more once we decide to head home, since I *do* have piloting

experience ;)>>
