~~~~Science Labs~~~~
In the science labs he was monitoring the motion sensor system and looking
over Dach’s proposals for take off.  He was in a state of readiness waiting
for the natives to attack. Sitting in the science labs he was lonely. The
whirring sounds of the systems, the continuous bleeps and the buzz of
electric lights was very noticeable with nobody else around. He was used to
this. Science labs full of commotion with many experiments going on.
‘Ahh...the experiments’ he thought to himself. He laughed remembering the
time a Cadet had nearly blown up half of the labs, he was quite annoyed at
the time but now he looked back and laughed at the situation. His train of
thought was broken when Dach screamed from his comm badge <Dach to
security..to anyone. They’re coming through the door in Cargo Bay 2. I need
some assistance down here!>. “What!?” said Ruckwood startled. He looked
at
his terminal. It hadn’t detected any movement. He ran from his seat armed
with a standard phaser to the TL.
~~~~Cargo Bay 2~~~~

As he arrived in the cargo bay the phaser fire seized. He was just in time

to see Kzin merge back into Ktryna. There was a lot of damage to the doors a

wide gaping hole looked out into the black night. Davis walked over to it

and looked out. Atlanta and Dach came out from behind a crate that they’d

been firing from. Moraine was leaning over a native laying motionless,

 “Dead” she proclaimed. He noticed now that Ktryna had an injury and was

protecting her arm. Atlanta turned to face Ruckwood “Early as usual” she

said. Davis turned to face the crew.

Davis> Ensign Ruckwood, what happened to your ‘early warning’ system?

Ruckwood> I don’t know sir, it didn’t register any movement. I’ll

investigate into it

Davis> Don’t bother Ensign we have more important things to deal

with.........

<<I thought the Lt Cmdr would like to follow on. If anyone doesn’t like

my

log then please tell me.>>
