<OOC: This takes place before and up to Dach calling for security>

Atlanta walked onto the bridge and immediately saw the Captain, the XO and

Ktryna. She was initially going to talk to Ktryna alone, however she saw no

need for secrecy.

<Look. I don't know what you're playing at but this is still our ship.

What

right do you have to go around deactivating system controls and placing

systems on manual override. Not only have you violated security, but you

have also inconvenienced repairs and caused even more tension than there was

before.>

The Captain responded, attempting to establish a diplomatic link.

<Ensign,

whether you like it or not, we too are part of this crew and we all need

each other to get home.>

<In that case I would appreciate it is you all attempted to liase with

Ta'ra

and I, instead of launchng a full scale persecution and excluding us from

alterations made to he ship and it's equipment. You can't just waltz in here

and take over. It's not that easy.> Atlanta looked around her. She could

see

Ktryna becoming annoyed, however that didn't phase her. There was no way out

of this confrontation.

<How do you expect us to communicate with you when it is evident that you

balatently distrust us?> Ktryna growled, morphing into her wolf form.

Lieutenant Moraine placed a calming hand on her back.

<And you really think that it is wise just to trust eveyone? When you

allow

strangers on board, you should just give them a free licence to roam about

as they please, interfering with systems that you have worked on and help

improve?> Atlanta looked around, no-one spoke. <On all the starships

I've

been aboard (and believe me I have been on many during my life) there is a

sense of solidarity between the crew. No-one will betray ship and crew

members, some die trying to protect them. Aboard the Galileo, we all worked

to protect the ship and believe me I won't let things change, just because

we have lost the majority of the crew.>

Trisanna Moraine sighed sympathetically. <I understand where you're

coming

from, but you and Dach have been radiating very strong emotions of distrust

which Ktryna and I find difficult to ignore.>

Atlanta was unable to feel any regret for this.<We have to take every

precaution to make sure you are who you say you are. For all we know, you

could have mutinied and been expelled from the Intrepid and be intending to

take this ship and use it in a war against the Federation. If we let our

defences down then we are completely vulnerable.> She replied in an

attempt

to explain her reasoning and logic.

It was clear that the others understood her. They made no further attempts

to argue with her and Ktryna morphed back into her humanoid form. Davis was

the first to speak.

<We apologise for any misunderstanding and I am glad that you have

discussed

the matter with us. In future, for the time being we will try not to make

any big decisions without including you and Ensign Dach, however you do have

to let down you defences a little. I won't tolerate any more fighting.>

He

looked around to eveyone <Am I making myself clear?>

<Yes Sir> the three replied almost in unison.

<Good> Davis said and began to carry on with his work.

Atlanta mad her way for the door. Remembering something, she stopped and

turned around. <Ktryna. .... Thank you for repairing the Security

Console>

<It's fine> She replied, but just as she did she heard:-

"Dach to Security! They're coming through the door in Cargobay

2. I need some backup here!"

There was a the sound of fighting and phaser fire and then the COMM link

went dead.

You can deny yourself the truth, however you can never deny yourself the

x-files.
